If you’re a Midwestern transplant on the West Coast, the craving for home cooking can leave you hangry as heck. All you need is a little bit of hotdish in your life, but mom is so far away!
Enter California’s essential burger. Luckily the gluttons at Food Beast have you covered with this jaw-dropping In-N-Out "casserole" that puts mom to shame. But don’t tell her we said that.
If you want to get fancy with it you can make your own dough, but store-bought frozen dough works just fine. Line the bottom of a pie pan with your dough and prepare to layer on the flavor. So much flavor…
Spread that savory, famous In-N-Out sauce on top of the pie crust.
Add a layer of French Fries, because why not sprinkle a few more calories in there?
Cut two 4×4 burgers in half and line them along the sides of the pie pan. Leave a third burger in tact for the center. And it doesn’t end there…
Make sure those burgers are cut in cubes so the next step soaks in.
Whip together three eggs and some half-and-half as filling, because there are just not enough animal products in this pie yet.
Dump your egg-and-dairy mixture onto the pie, making sure to splash it everywhere.
Bake it in the oven for about 30 minutes, then bring it out for the finishing touches.
Add More Cheese And Fries
Yes, seriously. Pile on more fries and a few more slices of American cheese for good measure. Bake again until the cheese is melted.
Add even more caramelized onions and finish it all off with a few artery-clogging squirts of sauce.
Watch as layers upon layers of California-meets-Midwest goodness unveil themselves before your very eyes.
Behold This Epic Twitter Tale of Pizza Pickup Fail
There are certain things that are sacred family, friends and, of course, pizza. So when a grave offense is committed against the cheesy deliciousness that is sliced into perfect love triangles, the world must be made aware.
That was the thought behind the epic Twitter tale from user @sad_tree, who had the misfortune to witness this latest crime while working at Philadelphia Style Pizza and Subs.
A customer named Smith would come in, order two pizzas, and well, thats where the tale picks up..
